"Ariana i need to tell you something." Emily said.
It was the lunch break, a week later after Ariana had the drive date with Parker. Ever since that meeting, they had found a way to reconcile after sharing their views on what they want. They had come to an understanding and Ariana was quite glad that she had someone like him who was very understanding. She didn't know what she'll have done if he wasn't there for her.
"Okay darling, I'm listening. What's going on?" Ariana asked.
She could see a look of confusion and hurt in Emily's face and she knew that something was definitely wrong. Emily wasn't one to show emotions, she hid it well and if she was showing emotions now, it just meant that something terrible had gone wrong.
"Oh boy! Emily, what's going on?" Ariana asked.
She pushed her food away, putting all of her attention on Emily. This was not the time for food, it was the time to talk and she had to do that right about that moment.
