Mizuki POV
Getting behind the bushes I went behind them.
Not directly behind but just bit away. I could hear them talk.
"Hey Lilith!" Akatsuki asked.
"What is it?" The woman said. Maybe her nickname or something.
"What is it like being married?" (A)
"That came out of nowhere." "L"
"It's something I've been wondering. I have never been married. So I don't know." (A)
"It's fun. We live together. Do everything together. And you won't feel lonely." "L"
"Is that so? I still don't get." (A)
"How about you get married too!!" "L"
"No. That would be suicidal. Also who will marry me? The biggest question is that." (A)
"Don't say that. There are plenty of girls. Someone will take you." "L"
"Haaaahhhh." (A)
"That's a deep sigh. "L"
"Never mind, where is Lucifer?" (A)
"Gone to pick up our daughter." "L"
"She's in high school and you still go to pick her up." (A)
"Something he insists on doing. He says that it keeps the pests around her in check." "L"
"And yet, he offers he his daughter. That guy is messed up." (A)
"He offered you something like that!!? But I see, if it's you then we can be rest assured." "L"
"Why are you saying that nonchalantly?" (A)
"I mean, if it's you then my daughter will be happy." "L"
"Don't decide on how others will be happy. It is their own choice." (A)
"So, what is it that you are doing? Are you not arbitrarily deciding on something. You trampled on their love. You didn't speak yo them. Didn't confess to them. And you just ran away. So why are you preaching to me about that?" "L"
I didn't know what the deal was but she was angry with him. She even said things like that.
But Akatsuki only looked a little sad.
"But I could never make them happy. I could only drag them down. So I cut them loose. From the burden called." (A)
"You didn't cut them loose. You just cut yourself loose from them. And now you are here." "L"
"Anyway, let's call Lucifer here too." (A)
"Ok. He should be done by now." "L"
Akatsuki said that a man appeared. It was the same man whom I saw with him.
"Hey Lucifer, your wife's pretty mad at me." (A)
"Give up. She had been complaining to me about it but today she got you. So, you have to listen to her." (L)
"But what did I do to deserve this?" (A)
"You know better than anyone else." "L"
"Akatsuki, let me ask you something. What are you doing?" (L)
"What am I doing? I am just protecting my beloved lovers." (A)
"You say that. But what will you do if something happens to them?" "L"
"I will kill everyone. I will murder whoever did that. I will rewrite the world if I have to."
Akatsuki flared up. He was looking really scary.
Lucifer sighed. I was a bit confused. But Akatsuki seemed someone, who would take vicious measures if something happened to his lovers.
But who are they? Also, they don't know that he is in love with them.
"What if you had done things differently? What if you had talked to them? What if you confessed your love for them? Have you ever thought of all those things?" (L)
"I have. Many times. But I could only see dissatisfaction, sadness, anxiety and disgust. I couldn't get them to love me back. I could only one sidedly love them. But I am okay with that. I am not asking anything in return. I am not telling them to return my feelings either. I will continue to love them. Even if they hate me. Despise me." (A)
"Huhhhh. You really are an idiot. Then let me rephrase my question. Suppose, one your beloved is getting married. What would you do?"
Lucifer was asking things that made no sense. Akatsuki's answers were also kind of weird.
I shouldn't be agitated. But for some reason, I had a feeling. Intense rage. Like an eruption of a volcano. I wanted to go there and slap Akatsuki with all my might. But I calmed down and kept listening.
"I am a man of my words. I will happily marry her off. I will be there during her ceremony. I will wish her happiness. I will look after her even after marriage. Hell, I'll also look after her children. I won't get involved directly but I can stalk her. I will look after her. If her husband does anything bad then I will punish him. I will be there. I will be there till her death. Hell, maybe even after death. I will always look after her."
What is that!!! Akatsuki is talking like a madman. An incomprehensible rambling.
I didn't quite get it. It was extremely disturbing.
"Stop. Your eyes. They lost light. They are pitch black. Akatsuki, come back. Come back to us." Lucifer heavily shook him.
Akatsuki stopped rambling and stared at Lucifer.
"Sorry. I lost control there for a moment." He cleared his throat and apologized.
Lost control? That was!!!! I was quite shocked.
"But you do get the general idea. I will always be by their sides. Even after they get married. From the shadows, I'll always protect them. All six of them." Akatsuki clenched his fists and said it.
He had a determined look on his face. But, I couldn't shake this feeling.
This rage!!!!!
"What a troublesome man! Anyway, you do know your age, right?" Lucifer asked.
"Well yeah. I remember when I was born." (A)
"When? I am curious." "L"
"What's with you Lilith? Suddenly asking me that." (A)
"No. I just thought that how old would you be." "L"
"I am roughly 30 billion years old. Give a take a few million." (A)
"So, how old is this world then?" (L)
"Roughly 14 billion years. This world is quite young." (A)
"So Akatsuki, you have no intention of getting involved with them!" (L)
"No. This world is finally free. Of the burden called Akatsuki. Those girls are not tied anymore. They can live however they want. Those things never happened here. And my parents never suffered. My sister never had a brother. My friend was never faced with that. And I never went there. So this is perfect." (A)
"But, what if I say, someone is trying to do something?" (L)
"They can come at me however they want. But I am not yielding. After all, I am the Creator. I have an obligation."
I lost it. I mean this conversation is totally outrageous.
I cannot keep up with it.
"But you know, you can at least, try telling one of them." "L"
"Lilith, are you saying that I confess my love to one of them?" (A)
"What's the harm. You can never be too late." "L"
"Haaaahh. You have to be kidding me." Akatsuki tried to refuse it.
But this Lilith woman was pretty pushy. She pushed that idea until he gave up.
"Ok.... . I will do it. I will confess tomorrow. Maybe, Momoko. She wouldn't even look at me. So I guess it should be ok."

"Ok. I am glad that you are at least trying. Then, prepare a flower bouquet and confess. No wasting time." "L"
"Ok ok. I will. Tomorrow morning. But I tell you, it won't be as you expect." (A)
"Why is that?" "L"
"The opposite of love is not hate. It's indifference. Hate is also a feeling. A strong one. So the one you love the most can become the one you hate the most. But if you don't even notice someone, you can't love or hate them." (A)
"We'll see." Lilith made a devious smile and stood.
Lucifer also stood.
"Well, we are going home. See ya."
They said and disappeared.
*Sigh* He let out a sigh.
"Tomorrow, is gonna a be a day."
He said and just sat there. I slowly slipped away.
But I don't understand. However, there's much more to it than just that.
I could smell something. Like he was connected with all of us. And he did something.
I will wait for tomorrow and then will try to find some answers.
