Chapter 16 - believe?

"I can't do that." Arsean said again.

"SELFISH BASTARD!"

"You want two women in your life, huh? You bastard! Asshole!"

Zhie shouted as he hit Arsean out of emotion. But Arsean immediately stopped him and hugged Zhie tightly so that Zhie could stop his hysterical crying.

"Enough, Zhie, don't do this again. I'll never divorce you, but I can't leave Bianca either. I can't explain everything to you Zhie, it's not time for you to know." Arsean said, soothing Zhie as he rubbed his wife's back.

"I'm tired Sean. I'm tired of going on like this, I feel like everything I do means nothing to you. I really hate myself for continuing to love you. I want to hate you, I want to hate you, Sean!" Zhie continued to cry hysterically.

"Zhie, you can hate me as much as you want, but you must never give up being my wife. Hold on and fight until I give up. I know you're a strong woman, Zhie. Keep fighting and don't get weak like this." Arsean said.

Zhie then pushed Arsean away from her. "Why can't I give up? You keep hurting me! You're so selfish!" Zhie snapped in displeasure.

Arsean looked into Zhie's eyes, which were red from crying.

"Because you're my parents' favorite son-in-law, that's enough of an answer. I don't want to make them sick again, when mom found out Bianca was pregnant, mom didn't want to leave the room for 3 days, she even got sick, of course I don't want that to happen again," he explained briefly.

"So you had to?" asked Zhie.

Arsean didn't answer, instead she approached Zhie, cupped both cheeks that were red from crying, then rubbed Zhie's face with her thumbs to wipe away the tears.

Zhie almost fell asleep, she quickly closed her eyes and shook her head, pushing Arsean's hand away, then finally came to her senses.

Arsean got up and went to the window, opened it and closed her eyes for a while, her head was very dizzy thinking about her parents, Zhie, Bianca and even the company.

"How long should I stay with you? I can't stay long because I have to go back to work." Arsean had to be patient because Zhie had been unruly lately, so he decided to hold back his anger, let alone say harsh words.

"Just go and don't come back!" Zhie snapped.

"You want a day?"

Instead of answering, Zhie chuckled. "I don't need it!"

"Two days?" offered Arsean, still holding back his emotions.

"I said no need, go and get out of my sight, you are so annoying!" Zhie said still annoyed.

"Two days?" Arsean asked.

"I'm telling you again, I will hate you and want you to leave!" An annoyed Zhie replied.

"Fine, if that's what you want," Arsean replied and walked out of the room, but just as she turned the doorknob, Zhie's voice rang out.

"Wait!" Zhie shouted, causing Arsean to stop and turn around.

"Hmm, I want to ask and hear it directly to know my limits in the future." Zhie said.

"Ask," Arsean said.

"Do you love, Bianca?" he asked.

"Take a break, I'm going out for a while." Arsean ignored Zhie's question.

"Hahaha, how stupid of me, I shouldn't have to ask that. It's impossible for you to love me, because you must love Bianca very much, not to mention that you have a child with her, right? As for me, the woman you didn't expect." Zhie said, wiping away tears as she endured the pain in her chest.

Arsean couldn't stand it anymore, she had held back so as not to frustrate Zhie even more in her thoughts. I don't know, seeing Zhie in pain like this, why she was in pain.

Arsean walked over, pulled Zhie's neck and kissed her gently on the lips.

Zhie, who was sobbing, tried to resist, but the man played with her feelings even more.

Arsean stopped the kiss, her eyes still closed and silent, their faces so close that even their foreheads were pressed together. Their breathing also beat against each other in a rapid rhythm.

"Bianca, I really can't leave him at any time. I have responsibilities to fulfill, but you will always be my wife," Arsean explained.

"Responsibility for your child? If not for love, what else?" asked Zhie sarcastically.

"You know Zhie, I'm pretty sure the child is not mine, and we've never even had sex. But that night I got drunk and thought Bianca was you, I was sure it was you. But when I woke up from sleep, I found Bianca next to me instead of you. Arsean explained, looking deeply into Zhie's eyes.

"Not your son?" Zhie asked again.

"Zhie, that's why I said wait until the child is born, I can't let her go because..." Arsean stopped speaking.

"Because of what?" asked Zhie curiously.

"I can't say, but trust me. Obey me and don't act up again, you'll be safer here than coming back with me." Arsean reassured again.

Of course Zhie doesn't believe anything Arsean says, she thinks it's just a lie to make her even more complacent and not to forget this man.

"Tsk, don't brag! I know you must be lying to me," Zhie said suspiciously and incredulously, considering Arsean's behavior so far.

"I told you, whether you believe me or not is up to you. As time will show, I didn't like you from the beginning. But that doesn't mean I lied to you," Arsen explained again.

"Actually, if you continue to fight against your feelings, it's useless, it won't work, because in the end you will grow old with me." Arsen continued to say it quietly.

Zhie silently digested what Arsean said, wanted to believe but hesitated because most men like to brag.

But soon Zhie hugged her husband and closed her eyes, savoring Arsean's unique scent. "Sean, can I trust you this time? But if you lie, that is the end of our story. I'll just give up." Zhie said still in the same state.

Arsean just didn't answer, but instead returned his wife's hug, and eventually Zhie tired of crying and fell asleep in her husband's arms, with Arsean continuing to gently rub Zhie's hair and back.

Arsean laid Zhie's body down properly, then gently covered her and rubbed the top of her head.

Finally, Arsean left the room and went into the living room, where she could see Dimas chatting with the servants.

"Ekhem!" Arsean cleared her throat, only to have Dimas immediately assume a quick position.

"Everything is prepared, President. So we can leave tonight." Dimas explained.

"A few days later, please buy something for Bianca as an apology for not being able to come back earlier. Just make the words as usual so that she doesn't get angry." Arsean ordered.

Dimas paused for a moment, then immediately nodded obediently.

It is unusual for the chairman to ignore Bianca in favor of Mrs. Zhie. Dimas thought in confusion.
