Sophia had her back laid on the bed with her eyes staring at the all-white ceiling with beautiful spiral patterns engraved on it, while her mind raced back to the memories of bumping into Tyler during her walk with Buddy as well as every encounter they've had since he stepped into East side High — and each one she had found strange.
Why did it have to be him? She wondered.
Why did he have to be the one living right in front of Alex's place? She wouldn't have preferred it to be anyone else from Eastside high, because she couldn't afford to let anyone know she was living there, as that would only further intensify her problems. It wasn't as if Alex dropping her at school wasn't going to be problem enough.
