"How long will it take you to think about?" Alex asked, and Vanessa met his gaze.
"I can't tell. I will let you know when I make up my mind," Vanessa said, and Alex nodded.
"Go get some rest. We will go to the station later in the day," Alex said, seeing no need to hurry to the station when she looked so exhausted.
"Alright," Vanessa said as she reached for the box.
"I will take it back. Just go in," Alex said as he picked up her bag and led her to the room she shared with Sophia.
"Sophia... I need to let her know I'm here," Vanessa said with a frown when she remembered that Sophia wasn't aware of the move.
"She is most likely sleeping right now. We will give her a call in the morning then stop by the house to pick up her stuff on our way to the police station. Stop worrying and go to bed," Alex said as he held open the bedroom door for her to go in.
