Vanessa sighed for the upteemth time as she ripped out the nth sheet from her sketch book. The designs were too bland, too casual and not exciting enough to be worn by kids.
They just didn't fit!
Her eyes trailed over the several sheets strewn on the floor and the ugly mess they created, and she sighed again.
This wasn't about the designs, it was about her mind not being creative as it used to be because it always seemed to wander — wander to the one person she didn't want to think about, Alex.
No matter how hard she tried she somehow always ended up with thoughts and worry of him going through her mind most especially during the weekends like this when she was confined to being in the house.
Unlike the office where she had a plethora of things to keep her mind busy and distracted, her mind becomes idle during the weekends and the thoughts of him were all that filled her.
