Kyle stared at her speechlessly as he wondered what he had done to deserve a person like this bothering him.
He opened his mouth to say no, but before he could do that, she edged past him and walked into the apartment.
"Well, well, well! There's quite a lot of things to do to transition this place into your home," Laurie said as she dropped the Pringle and pack of juice on the table before looking around the apartment.
Kyle, who was still standing by the door, looked at her, wondering where she got her mannerisms from, "Do you realize that you just barged into my apartment?" Kyle asked from the doorway, and Laurie turned to him.
"Barged? I won't exactly call it that. I knocked, you opened the door, and I walked in bearing gifts for a little housewarming party," she said with a cheerful smile as she resumed walking around and checking out his housewares.
