The shade of the last night's pain was visible on Lee Yong's face as he sat in his studio in the morning.
The rest of the band was also there. No one dared to speak, but they all looked at Lee Yong with concern. No one moved even though they had practice. They all collectively but silently agreed to be the moral support of their bandleader.
The only drawback was it came with being a silent shadow hovering over their leader.
At any other time, Lee Yong would have snapped at them, but he had no energy. Despite drowning too much in soju and beer, he was still not sober but did not get drunk last night.
Lee Yong was working on the new piece he had written the previous day, trying to complete the music for that song. He was moving around and working on everything like a robot and had no passion or involvement.
The song sounded very different, and it had all the potential to become funeral music than K-pop music.
