Lumi… was rescued?
Siegren stared at Asmodea with a vacant gaze— the traces of divinity were now all gone, and Lumi's presence was no longer there.
But is it because she was gone?
Or is there something else that obscured her presence in order to trick him into believing he was really gone?
Asmodea smirked as her angelic face became warped with a wicked grin.
The vessel's expression is enough for her to conclude that he needed the priestess for reasons unknown. If it was due to him having feelings for her or if it was her power he was after, Asmodea doesn't care.
What is important is the fact that he needed her.
And she will use this to her advantage!
"She's already been rescued. There's no way you can get into the portal inside the tower!"
Bluff.
She was bluffing, of course.
