The air before summer on Dusty Island was excruciating.
The heat was so burning the skin. It was as if the sun was directly over their heads. The dryness was extraordinary; if not splashed with water, our skin could peel off. The air was not very cool, as if the neck was choked by a giant hand that had slashed the rate of human breath.
True to its name, Dusty, the ground is really dusty now.
The remainder of the battle, which lasted for two hundred minutes, destroyed most buildings. The Dusty Island warriors who fought with all their might were, in fact, unable to withstand the enemy's attacks any longer. Three hours after they fought, the Guardians of the North were finally able to break through the Dusty Island entrance they were defending.
