"Maybe … just maybe … Ivory wasn't the only reason Aaron left you. It's possible that Aaron had other reasons–"
"What other reason? Our relationship was fine from the start!" Joy glared at Ezekiel. "If only that seductress knew her limits, we wouldn't be apart. All of this is her fault. She was so selfish to snatch Aaron from me. She took what didn't belong to her! She should have known herself. I wouldn't have gone so far as to harm her if she hadn't intruded on my life! I was trying to keep what was mine from the start."
"I know. Forgive my words."
Ezekiel pulled Joy in a hug. They were both shocked for a moment after a loud thump hit their ears. The man tried to calm Joy, who was so emotional after expressing her feelings.
"If you let him go, you will find peace in your heart, Joy. You will be given happiness many times more than now. That's all you can get if you're willing to let Aaron go sincerely."
