The first thing Ivory saw when she opened her eyes was Roger Smith.
The figure of the man she missed was too close to her face. She could even hear Roger's sigh of relief, followed by the man's thankfulness. Her best friend seemed to relax his shoulders and rub her head gently.
"Ivory, you're finally awake."
Ivory massaged her forehead slowly before looking around the corner of the room. This room has an odd shape. Looks like a living room as well as a room. She could feel the mattress she was lying on vibrate for a moment and then calm down again as if nothing had happened.
She remembered that she was hiding in the tank. This place is definitely not the inside of a tank. Where is she currently?
"Roger, where are we?"
Although her head still felt like it was spinning, she was sensitive. Ivory could see how Roger took a deep breath. It was a sign that he had had a long and tiring day.
And that's how it really is.
