"Roger, please, tell me where my partner is. You said you used to go to the same school as me? That means you're my friend. You have to help me."
Sunday afternoon while Aaron was at church, he was surprised by Roger's arrival. The man with shoulder-length hair came to him pretending to care and full of pleasantries. He who doesn't know Roger's appearance and only knows his name doesn't realize that the man he's talking to is Ivory's best friend.
Roger did say that they were schoolfellows but had never been in the same class. That's why Aaron doesn't know Roger even though he just said that Roger is his friend. He didn't really say it. He just wanted Roger to tell him where Ivory was.
"Partner? Your partner is Joy. Ivory is not your partner."
Aaron took a deep breath to hold back his emotions. "You know what I mean. Stop stalling and tell me where my Ivory is. Help me, please."
