Ivory's eyes immediately widened when she heard Cakara's words which almost stopped her heartbeat.
"Just kidding!"
Cakara laughed at the look of horror on Ivory's face.
Actually, it wasn't that he wanted to admit outright that he liked Ivory at this point. Unfortunately, his mouth is sometimes out of control. Though he intends to keep his feelings so that Ivory does not know. However, it turns out that he accidentally told the girl if he liked her.
Therefore, Cakara hastily said that he had just lied. He didn't want the atmosphere that was already bad to be worse. He didn't wish Ivory to feel uncomfortable around him. Moreover, the girl had just been shocked to learn of his unexpected background.
"Caka! I'm shocked!" cried Ivory. She also laughed when she heard Cakara had just "joked" with her. "It's like my heart is ready to fall! Oh my Goodness!"
Cakara laughed again.
He is more like laughing at himself.
