Chapter 13 - The Woman with the Gray Hair

Aaron squirmed in his sleep.

He was looking for the figure who had been accompanying him to sleep every day. The figure who became his human pillow. The figure that he always hugged because he knew very well that it would be difficult for him to close his eyes without hugging something or someone—a figure who has now moved from his home.

"Aaron, wake up."

Aaron pulled the hand, trying to wake him up, and hugged that hand. The man embraced the thin hand that he thought was the figure of his fiancee. The hand he was holding belonged to a stranger who had just moved into his house.

"Let go of my hand, Aaron. I beg you, wake up. There's a guest outside."

"Hmm." Aaron hugged the hand tighter and closed his eyes away from the sunlight that tempted him to wake up.

"Aaron. Come on. Don't hug my hand."

"Just a moment, Joy. I'm still sleepy."

Ivory, who had been trying to wake Aaron up for the last fifteen minutes, smiled blandly. Even in his sleep, Aaron only remembers Joy. Ivory thought Aaron must have loved her so much. Despite feeling almost desperate to wake the house owner, Ivory again tried to tug at her tightly locked hands between Aaron's body. She snorted in annoyance and patted her partner's cheek.

'His cheeks are very smooth. Fits his handsome face.' Ivory muttered to herself.

Ivory watched more closely. Even in his sleep, Aaron still looks charming. His wrinkled face didn't reduce his handsomeness at all. Even his long lashes made Ivory jealous. His thick eyebrows also emphasize the frame of the man's face. What about the nose? His nose is so sharp. The point is Aaron's face is flawless. Perfect every time.

Ivory felt inferior. She thought she didn't deserve to be side by side with Aaron, even if it was only in a game. How could Aaron want her? She is just a lowly person who has no privileges while Aaron has almost everything.

By the way, the pat on the cheek didn't work.

What else was Ivory to do when his guest waited for him for a quarter of an hour?

Like it or not, she had to do it.

"Aww! It hurts!"

Ivory's hand finally slipped from Aaron's embrace. She looked at the man who was moaning in pain while holding back her fear. Her attitude this time was quite presumptuous.

"I'm sorry, but you won't wake up," Ivory squeaked. She checked Aaron's upper arm, which was uncovered by the black T-shirt.

"Why do you have to pinch me? It hurts, Ivory," Aaron whined.

Ivory rubbed the spot where she had just pinched her partner. That part flushed red, making her feel even more guilty. She apologized many times while constantly rubbing Aaron's skin.

"You didn't want to wake up. I've been awake you for fifteen minutes. Your guest was waiting," Ivory said defensively.

"My guest?" asked Aaron. His right hand rubbed the pinch marks on his left arm while he used his left hand to rub his eyes.

Ivory nodded twice. "He's been waiting for you," she said. "Get up, please. I don't like keeping them waiting."

Soon they both rushed out to meet the figure who had been waiting for too long.

"Good morning, Mr. Magnifico," said one of the guests.

"Good morning," Aaron said in his hoarse voice.

Ivory, who felt that she didn't have any capacity between them, chose to get out of the way and go to the kitchen. She decided to make breakfast for the two of them. The twenty-year-old girl was momentarily stunned to see how large the kitchen in Aaron's house was. Everything is so neat and shiny. Everything is worth it.

"I have to be careful when I touch it," she said. "Mishandled can be damaged."

And she tried to recognize her surroundings. Her hand touched the sharp-edged knives of various sizes carefully. She fumbled for a frying pan and a magic stove that didn't need a gas cylinder. The furnace had never been used before. No one has a kitchen set as good as this in the area. She's still confused about how to use it.

Ivory then opened the refrigerator and found some delicious ready-to-eat ingredients.

"I will cook a special dish for Aaron. I hope he doesn't mind me using his ingredients."

"Baby."

A man received a back hug after the affectionate call was heard. The man who was being hugged from behind smiled happily. He squeezed his hand back around his stomach.

"Are you on vacation?"

The man tightened his grip on him. He nodded once and looked behind him to give the person a light kiss on the cheek. He was happy because today he got a day off.

"Today and tomorrow. After that, I will return to Vena."

The woman who was hugging her partner mumbled lightly. Her eyes shifted from her lover's face to the green frame on the nightstand. The picture shows the figures of two teenage girls and a boy posing awkwardly there. There was also a man who was at least four times as old as the three children. The most senior figure was holding a large fish, complete with a hook still stuck in the fish's mouth. The person's face looked very satisfied compared to the 3 people next to him who stared awkwardly at the camera.

The man, who realized that his lover was staring sadly at the figure, asked in a soft tone.

"Do you miss her?"

He then pulled his lover's hips so that that body turned and faced him perfectly.

"I miss her so bad. Always."

The woman with the gray hair brushed away the dust that slightly stained the glass frame. It was always dirty, even though she never stopped cleaning it. She even used a special cleaning kit that he had to buy secretly without her boyfriend knowing. The seller said that the dust cleaning tool was handy and effective in cleaning dust or stubborn stains. It turned out to be the same. Just bullshit. Yet the frame is still dirty.

The man in front of him smirked. He brushed his black hair with a touch of light blonde. He showed his sweaty forehead as evidence of his physical activity a few minutes ago. He put the black-framed glasses perched on his eyes and turned to hold his lover's face with both hands.

"I'm sure we'll see her soon," he said confidently.

The beloved one shook her head lightly. "She must have been hating me."

"She'll understand your situation, Babe." He kissed her lips seductively. "She's a great girl who loves you."

"It was a long time ago, Babe," the woman answered quietly.

"Long time ago."
