"Joy, stop it!"
"No. Don't stop me!" Joy removed Aaron's hand, which was holding her back from breaking poor Ivory's bedroom door. "Why do you care about her? She's just a lowly Secondary! She has no right for you to hug, hold, and give you attention like that!"
"Joy, stop it. Let her rest. She's harmless."
Not to be outdone by Aaron's rebuke, Joy gave her man a deadly look. She rolled her eyes. It's obvious that Aaron's words irritated her immensely. "Why did you go looking for her? Let it be if she doesn't want to come home!"
"It's not that she doesn't want to go home. She was caught by the Guardians for violating the curfew. I told you before. You shouldn't have forced her to go to the pharmacy before Sweeping."
"Hon!" Joy stared in disbelief at her fiancé. "Why do you even blame me? I'm suffering, and I'm asking her for help! It's her fault that she didn't go home immediately after buying the medicine!"
