Ivory and Aaron returned home at five in the afternoon.
Back at the house, only Aaron was actively talking to Ivory. The girl will answer but will not ask about the discussion they are discussing. Ivory's mind was still filled with the image of the wound on Camelia's hand.
She was so curious. Why Camelia could be hurt like that. Who hurts her? Did Camelia hurt herself? Why?
Ivory really wanted to know it all.
"Ivory, you've been quiet since coming home from work. What is it? Are you not feeling well?"
The girl in question only shook her head lightly. "No. I'm fine," she replied.
"So what? Bad mood? Are you tired? Do you want to eat some more?"
Ivory smiled awkwardly at Aaron's concern. "No, Aar. I'm good," she said.
Aaron laid his back on the bed. He closed his eyes and began to feel sleepy. Before drowsiness overtook him, he realized Ivory had taken off his shoes. Aaron opened his eyes and saw Ivory stripping his socks off.
