JESSICA'S P.O.V
Just who the hell does he think he's?.
I stood up from my bed and patted down my dress. I definitely do not want to go back downstairs and meet him. I just feel that, that man surely has a ruthless aura about him. How could he treat me like that!. He is such a jerk.
He also behaves as if he owns me. And what the hell does he mean by 'You are mine'?,huh?.
I am not his I'm his ancestor's ,crazy boy. Just because he is a little tinny bit more handsome than my man doesn't mean that I fall in love with him . There are many fishes in the sea and if he wants, I will surely lend him a fishing rod.
In fact, I am not hungry. If he wants, he can sleep there, I don't care.
I stood up, walked to my door and closed it and then,back to my phone. I really miss my friend, Karen,who is still my best friend till now from the university I attended.
I planned on giving her a call. She is a very lively person to be with and also filled with positive vibes. When we were on campus, she and I were like the south and the north pole of the magnet. And of course, many people (in which majority were girls),were really jealous of us because of our bond.
If you still remember Kate, forget about her. She left the country before we turned eighteen and I am still yet to hear from her.
I got my phone and gave a call to my girl, Karen. Luckily, it went through.
"Karen?",I gently asked into the phone.
"Jessica?,wow. it has been a while since we met", Karen surprised voice came out of the phone.
"Yeah, let's meet at the beach side to catch up ",I proposed.
"fine,fine,...Okay, meet you there at five. I'm thinking of bringing my boyfriend so that we that it as a double date . Bring Mike ",Karen proposed happily, "bye",she said and hanged up the call.
What?!!!,how can I possibly leave this house?.Mom would say We have a visitor so I can not leave. Okay, I've got an idea.
I dress up causally and head downstairs. There, Ken was keeping my mother busy. She was laughing as if there was no tomorrow.
I tried sneaking out but suddenly, i heard Ken's voice, "Darling, where are you off to?"
I felt like strangling him. And who the hell is his darling?. And why must I tell him where I am going to?.
I looked at my mother and she seemed to know where I was going although I was not going where she thinks I will be going, I am going be with the person she thinks I'll be with.
"Are you going to the grocery store I sent you earlier?", my mother pretended to ask me while staring at me. Oh, I love her so much, but I am really sure she knows that I do not want to be with Ken.
"Yes,mom", I lied.
"Okay, come back early ",she said and returned to her cooking.
I looked at Ken, who was already starting at me, and bought out my tongue for him to see,then,then, I rushed out.
KEN'S P.O.V
I really felt like strangling her when she told me she was not single. But not worries
I came down the stairs controlling my anger.I found her mother cooking in the kitchen so I went over and we started sharing jokes. later, Jessica came out in a changed clothing I was very sure she was out to meet someone.
They played mother and daughter in front of me. Only a three year old child would believe them, and from their conversation, I could clearly tell that, she was going to meet that person.
No rush because haste makes waste and she will surely break up with him if I start my game. She belongs to me and me only, but I don't understand why she can't get it.
She is mine.
MADAM LIM'S POV
I don't know why Ken came back., but if my daughter doesn't want him, then I would not allow him to have her either.
She had already suffered enough when he suddenly left. If she loves Mike, so be it . I fully agree with that.
Because, something forced to stay would not stay forever, it will surely and one day leave.
