The wind felt too cold and thin which left people shivering in the morning.
At least, that was how Elisa felt as she finally reached the entrance of Lotus Bay, the small port located next to Teserus Town.
The crescent moon was still above but barely noticeable, painted as if the painter lost ink in the middle of creating it. The sound of early birds flocking around could be heard, along with the early busy streets and transactions that were joined with the strong scent of salt and iron.
Elisa continued to walk ahead while trying to assess the entirety of the place. She could see different establishments standing a few distances away from the boarded ships where different people could be seen, most of whom were merchants – full-blooded human merchants.
"The young miss over there, are you going to ride the morning boat?" one of the men near the deck asked.
With a neutral voice, Elisa responded, "No. I'm just looking for a person…"
