Alexander squinted as he tried to inspect it, his eyes following the twinkle the marble-sized object did in between his fingers.
The more he stared at the tiny, round object, the more he felt something that radiated from it. It was as though the marble shone brighter as it touched his skin, its surface turning lighter and brighter as it twinkled between Alexander's fingers.
More and more, his body felt as if it was becoming lighter and lighter, his soul seemingly falling into a deep cooling sensation, something similar to when one dove deep into a pool of cold, refreshing water.
In a daze, Alexander couldn't help but examine the object.
Was this a herb? Perhaps, the Teserus Master made this for his subject?
Curious, he brought it closer to his face, inch by inch coming closer to the cool radiation. Then he halted, his body almost freezing as he finally remembered.
This… This was something he had known before.
