Once upon a time, a guardian's soul was split into two. One remained in town while the other went to the forest. Both guided each of their assigned territories but nevertheless lived with one mission and soul. What connected them was one identity and location to protect but what separated them was also due to the same reasons. Perhaps, no one could ever actually learn what kind of mischief they did to be punished with such a case. However, just like in any darkness, came a sprinkle of light – something that gave them hope.
