Elisa and Sol remained standing, their eyes widening as they watched the man gaze at them, then slowly move and stagger as he fell directly to the ground, his body unmoving.
Hurrying over, Sol checked the man's pulse. "He-He's still alive. Elisa…"
Elisa frowned, moving to the stranger's side, her eyes going over his stomach. Her eyes swiftly caught sight of his weapon on the side, seeing the hilt of his sword with a name carved on it. "Gin…?"
Sol raised an eyebrow. "Is that his name? Gin?" He turned to the wounded man. "He doesn't look like a warlock… His name is a little weird, too. Is he, perhaps, a full-blooded human?"
A glint flashed through Elisa's eyes. She stood up, eyes glancing down as she said in a low voice, "That man is… a human…?"
Sol watched Elisa's reaction and couldn't help but feel guilt begin to spread all over his body.
