Rain began to pour down as a bolt of real lightning appeared from the distance, creating a dark and ominous atmosphere around Elisa. She looked ahead, finding a man standing from a distance.
Head duck as his face was covered by his hood, the man slowly tilted his head up, appearing to look at Elisa ahead.
Elisa's eyes widened further as she stared at the man in the shadows, unmoving still but still able to stop Elisa's heartbeat and make her freeze completely in shock. The lightning behind doubled further. When Elisa glanced at her side, she found Barlin still asleep, seemingly unconscious. It seemed he really had drained his mana and needed to recover some of it through sleeping as he had said before.
But who was this man before Elisa?
