The frown that Elisa had previously displayed vanished. It appeared as though she had understood Barlin's point of view as well, and she believed it to be reasonable.
In any case, they didn't have much time to argue or discuss matters right now. In front of them was the phoenix, and behind them were the archers led by a powerful mage whose identity remained unknown. There really weren't any choices left other than to try to face one of the two options. That was the only way for them to escape this place and continue on their way to the destination they intended.
