"Sol!" Elisa called desperately into the shadows, her voice seemingly bounding back in an eerie sound.
Barlin stood next to her, head turning around and trying to make out any presence he could sense. From his angle, there was nothing else but darkness.
Barlin tried to create a magic formation that emit light but it was to no avail. It seemed the wooden structure couldn't let any light enter it no matter what.
Elisa's hands trembled and clenched as she gritted her teeth as the same realization dawned on her. "Tch…" She tried to control her emotions but more and more, she felt she was losing it. She badly wanted to destroy this structure but what if Sol was here? She couldn't afford to harm him or put his life at risk.
Then came a voice that made her frustrated and angered expression come to a halt.
