Sol remained silent as he stood next to the bed and observed the sleeping figure of the man. He watched as Gin's chest rose and fell in a steady rhythm, indicating he was in a deep sleep as Loid had mentioned.
Gin protected him again. Even at the very last second, right before the arrow was meant to strike Sol, Gin continued to shield him with his body. It happened so quickly that Sol thought it didn't happen, but when he tried to recall it more deeply, he uncovered the truth that Gin did in fact used his body - something he probably tried his best to conceal from Sol.
Sol's gaze traveled over the plate that was placed on the table that was adjacent to Gin's bed. There were two plates and a little basin made of wood in the room, all of which contained what appeared to be flowers and leaves in shades of light green and golden. In addition, there was the aroma of a rare flowering plant called an Enigmella flower.
