Enjoying his second meal of the day, Tacito got curious, As almost everyone relevant to him was there with him in the royal dinning room, expect for Kimberly who was in the kitchen by herself.
Garrick, Ned, Matilda, Socorro, his parents Muriel and Thorn, his mate Yurei and of course Fernando and Lucius, but Jade and Jasper weren't here, and so are Tacito's so called younger siblings.
"Why is none...of my younger...siblings here in...the dinning room?...not even Jade...and Jasper are...here.
Earlier I went...to the playroom...and there was...nobody." Tacito said.
"How strange, there should be at least one or two in the playroom?" Muriel questioned.
"Jade and Jasper are with the other kids, in their own dinner room." Garrick said, "They have a...dinning room of... their own?" Tacito asked.
"They do, well at least the ones old enough to eat on their own, most the kids around here are below 11 years old, so they tend to be difficult during eating time.
They used to eat with us here, but things went South since the children are rowdy and troublemakers, we let them have a room on their own where they can be themselves without bothering us adults." Thorn replied to Tacito,
"As for why the playroom was empty today, it's because I asked the kids to not go there after Tacito woke-up...the playroom was your favorite place Tacito, so I hoped you'd go there today and maybe regain some memories and knowing how annoying little kids can be, I asked your siblings to avoid bothering you today because you're still healing from the accident.
That's probably why you haven't seen them all day." Thorn explained further.
"I've seen some of the little lads earlier! They were trying to catch butterflies in the garden!" Lucius spoke-up.
With a mouthful, "I've seen *munching* two of them in *Munching* the fitting room! playing with accessories!" Matilda said, "Gurl eat first then talk!" Ned scolded her.
"Let her be, when she chokes again, she'll start begging for water." A disappointed Socorro said while watching Matilda eat like she never did before.
Sniggering, "I can understand...but I'm curious...Are they that...annoying that you...had to give...them their own...room to dine?" Tacito asked, "I assume a...food fight or...two...might've been what...led to that...decision?" He added.
"It was more than just two food fights, it was a war!" Yurei said making most of them laugh.
Fernando wasn't really feeling the vibe, "Fun fact, Jade hates food fights, because she has to shower afterwards, like that one time one of Muriel's little gremlin threw pasta on her hair! Haha!" Ned spoke-up laughing.
"To be fair, getting tomatoe sauce in you hair is already disgusting, and trying to wash that sounds even more disgusting!" Garrick replied, "I once had to wash away Raw eggs! From my hair!" He added shivering in disgust.
"How did you...even get eggs...in your hair?!" Tacito asked.
"I thought I bribed you enough so you would never mention the egg incident again Garrick!" Muriel said while giggling, "You can bribe me all you want, but nothing will wipe away the trauma of getting egged! The icky feeling is itched into my brain!" Garrick replied.
Sighing with a smile, Muriel turned to Tacito, "To be truthful, the separate dinning room was my idea.
Thorn usually spends all time with the children, while I spend all time working.
At some point, having a meal was the one time we were able to meet in, even our sleep schedule was unmatched.
But because most of the kids are young, Thorn had to take care of them, so while I am eating, he would be too busy to have a conversation with me because he would be feeding them or making sure they do not fight with each other." He said.
"So who's feeding...the kids now?" Tacito asked, "We let the servants do that, I used to do everything for the kids but Muriel convinced me I should allow the servants to help.
Now I have a bit more free time, and I spend it cooking then eating with Muriel." Thorn explained smiling before he took Muriel's hand and kissed the back of it, making Muriel giggle and blush.
"Someday, You and Yurei are gonna be like your parents, Taci." Lucius spoke-up.
"You mean old, cranky and can't respect other people's privacy?" Yurei said sarcastically, he was still a bit angry about how Thorn cockblocked him earlier in the day.
"You little Asshole!" Thorn snarled, "Easy darling, you know he enjoys teasing you." Muriel said while slightly glaring at Yurei.
Scoffing, "Bah! Whatever..." Yurei frowned.
Nervous, "What I meant was that you guys are gonna get married someday, and maybe you get lucky and have kids! Be a nice family together." Lucius said.
"Like you and...Aroon?" Tacito replied with a hint of sarcasm that Garrick caught immediately, Since he knew that Fernando was pretending to be Aroon.
Garrick glanced at Tacito with worried yet curious eyes then looked over at Fernando who despite wearing Aroon's dark shade of skin, seemed as pale as a ghost because of what Tacito said.
Unable to realize that Tacito was being sarcastic, "Yeah! Just like me and Aroon!" Lucius replied happily, "Innit luv?" he added with a big smile as he stared at Fernando.
"Yes." Fernando said with a fake small smile.
"Hey, since we are talking about cheesy things, Thorn and I have something to say to You two, Tacito and Yurei." Muriel spoke-up.
"You're gonna let us share a room finally?" Yurei joked.
"I really wanna punch you kiddo." Thorn replied.
Sighing, "Well, in a way, you are not exactly wrong Yurei." Muriel said.
"Huh? What do...you mean by...that?" Tacito asked, "You two are already engaged, and you have done...things... together...and while you are a beta and Omega couple, you two still deserve the right to be together and start a family.
So we thought it would be nice if the two of you got married soon." Muriel explained.
Surprised, Fernando glanced at Tacito to see his reaction, and was even more surprised when Tacito seemed bothered by Muriel's words.
"Olala!" Matilda spoke-up, "How soon are we talking, cause last time I checked they're only 18, even if they've done things together, they're still pretty young for marriage, at least that's my opinion." Ned asked.
"It's true they're young, but they're mates, and already engaged, and I just can't handle them acting married without being married, we're Royals unfortunately and this kinda of behavior is scandalous.
No offense to all of you, including myself...I mean I became a father for the first time out of wedlock." Thorn said, "No offense taken sugar, and Thorn is right...I have suffered and so did my image in the public eye because I as well became a mother before I even got a fiance." Muriel replied.
"I agree with Muriel, the sooner you tie the knot the better, this way we avoid the public treating Tacito the same way they did to Muriel, after all he's the next king in line." Socorro stated.
"You guys realize we're still here?" Yurei spoke-up, "How soon are...we talking like...when are you...planning to get... married?" Tacito asked.
"You shall be a married couples before this week ends." Muriel said making everyone stare at him with wide eyes.
Horrified, "Now hold on a minute, I did say the sooner the better but less than a week is not enough to have a Royal wedding?! What about the invitations! The food preparation, the venue and all of this bullshit!" Socorro spoke-up.
"Wait, wait wait...Why do you think I would agree to getting married this hastily?!" Yurei asked, "Don't you love Tacito?" Thorn replied with a question.
"I do love him! And I understand you're trying to get us to get married so we can stop sleeping together behind your backs, But like Socorro said, this is gonna be the most important day of my life with Taci!
Don't we deserve an awesome wedding?! You can't make that happen in less than a week! You're not even letting us choose our wedding date!" Yurei protested.
Suddenly, "Do we really...need an awesome...wedding.
If by awesome...you mean a...play pretend where...we invite every... hotshot in the kingdom...to watch us... getting married then...talk shit about...it afterwards like...it's a circus.
Then I don't...want an awesome...wedding!" Tacito spoke-up surprising everyone.
"Then you should do like Garrick and I did.
Have a small wedding with only us, your family and close friends." Ned suggested.
"But Tacito is a Royal, lovely... Wouldn't it look bad if he ends-up not inviting other people like the nobles to the wedding?" Garrick questioned.
"Actually, we were going to suggest a small closed wedding before Taci said it!" Muriel spoke-up causing another wide eyes reaction in the room.
"What? Are you kidding me?!" Socorro said, "No, we're not Soco! We want Taci to be happy, a big wedding would be nothing but anxiety!
I know because I'm his father, and when I got married to Muriel, I was dying of anxiety because of how big the wedding was.
I couldn't enjoy most of that day Even though like Yurei said, it was the most important day in my life!" Thorn replied.
"Ugh, seriously..." Socorro grunted, "A small wedding sounds nice, besides! You're already getting married so young just to avoid public opinion, you shouldn't comprise anymore than that.
Having a lavish ceremony just so some dandy old snobs could enjoy it instead of the two people actually getting married, is unfair in my opinion.
I mean I enjoyed my small wedding with Aroon, Innit luv?" Lucius said, "Yeah, small weddings are...better." Fernando replied.
Disappointed, "I guess we're going to have a small wedding then." Yurei said.
"Hey...are you upset?" Tacito asked, "I am..." Yurei replied frowning.
"If you're unhappy...we can still...have a big...wedding." Tacito said.
Sighing, "No it's fine, I can probably still enjoy a small wedding, after all our wedding should be about us, celebrating our love, not me socializing with people.
Besides...I want to marry you Taci, there's no doubt about it." Yurei replied.
...Meanwhile...
"I wonder what they're doing in the dinning room right now!" Kimberly wondered as she sat in the empty kitchen, eating her plate of food she served for herself.
She was surprised but happy she could eat food, "Ugh, it's been a while since I had a good meal like this." She said before sighing with satisfaction.
Suddenly, as she heard someone coming into the kitchen, Kimberly quickly grabbed her plate and hid under the table.
She knew people couldn't see her, But they can see the plate.
Terrified, Kimberly sat waiting for whomever came to leave, but she started to worry as she realized that whomever was there, was crying.
Peaking from underneath the table, Kimberly threw a glance towards the crying person, only to see a teenager standing there in the kitchen, crying softly while desperately trying to wipe every tears that fell from their eyes.
"What a pretty little thing!" Kimberly was fascinated but the child's beauty despite their crying.
With long straight blond hair, and porcelain like skin, while wearing a sleeveless red doll-like dress, the teenager resembled Muriel too much.
"I wish I can comfort this poor little thing." Kimberly mumbled.
Suddenly, the kitchen's door opened again, and two other teenagers resembling the one in the red dress walked in.
One had chin-length hair and wore jeans with a green sweater while the other had a typical short boy haircut and wore a blue formal suit.
"Wait? Are they triplets?! They look kinda like each other!" Kimberly said in awe.
"Hey! Marlin! We've been looking for you!" The green sweater teenage said.
