An hour or so has passed, and Tacito spent it chatting with Yurei to know more about this new 'World', and although Yurei didn't tell him everything in detail in order to not overwhelm him, a confused Tacito was now walking out of the library With Yurei a step behind him.
Tacito was still heavily in shock by some of the informations Yurei gave him, he wasn't paying attention to where he walked.
"HEY! TACI WATCH OUT!" Yurei warned him from behind, but it was too late, Tacito accidentally bumped into someone smaller and knocked that someone and the something that was in that someone's hands, onto the ground.
"Are you okay Taci?" Yurei asked.
Nodding, Tacito looked at the ground to see the person he knocked, "Jasper?!" Tacito said surprised as A kid version of Jasper was frantically trying to collect his fallen pages, Tacito has knocked him and his sketchbook of jewellery designs.
When Tacito called Jasper's name, the boy stopped collecting briefly, "You remember me?!" he asked looking-up at Tacito.
"That's not important...now! I'm sorry...let me help...you!" Tacito replied bending over to help Jasper.
Though he got busy helping Jasper, Tacito noticed how Yurei didn't help them, but instead Yurei just kept on standing nearby while eyeing Jasper strangely, almost like he was glaring down at the boy.
"It's okay my prince, I can get them by myself...No need to worry yourself." Jasper Said.
"Nonsense! I caused...this...I must help...you." Tacito replied smiling at Jasper Who instantly blushed.
"Btw I'm glad you're awake my prince...So my sister didn't kill you." Jasper said shyly.
Chuckling, "I'm not that...easy you know...it takes more...to kill me!" Tacito replied.
"My prince, Is it true what my mother said... you're dealing with amnesia? I thought you wouldn't remember me."
"Wow words travel...fast with Ned!
It's true I'm...dealing with amnesia...though it's complicated...and I can't...explain it well.
Luckily for you...I do remember...you!...You're Jasper...Ned's child."
"At least you recognized me My prince, I'm really happy!" Jasper said gigging, "If you see...it that way." Tacito said handing over the last paper to Jasper before both of them stood back up.
"Jasper, what are you doing here? shouldn't a kid like you be studying or something?" Yurei asked annoyed, "Why don't you mind your own business, your highness Yurei!" Jasper replied.
"YOU LITTLE RASCAL!" Yurei shouted.
Confused but not surprised that they don't stand each other out in this world as well, "I really hoped...you two would...be friendly here." Tacito said.
"We were friendly up until recently! I can't be friendly with this Little rascal anymore!" Yurei said pointing at an offended Jasper, "I'm not gonna be a little rascal for long! you should be Scared your highness that I'll become taller than you soon enough, even though I'm Younger." Jasper replied mockingly.
"Jasper it's not...nice to pick...on people's insecurities." Tacito scolded the kid, "I'm sorry my prince but he started it!" Jasper replied while blushing from embarrassment.
Also embarrassed, "For the last freaking time everybody! I ain't insecure about my height! I like myself how I am! I'm confident!" Yurei said.
Ignoring his mate, "Please Jasper dear...no need for...formalities...just call me...Tacito.
Anyways...what are you...planning to do?" Tacito asked.
Nervous to use Tacito's name, "My pri-I mean Tacito I...was heading to the library to get my favorite book about plants." Jasper replied.
"You like plants...Jasper?...what kind exactly?" Tacito asked.
"All kinds! I love plants! I do have many plants in my room! I even planted some in the royal garden."
"What about the...sketches?...why do you...carry them around...if you were... going to study...plants?"
"Okay, Don't laugh but I'm planning to create a new design, a pair of earrings inspired by plants!" Jasper explained.
Clapping his hands twice, "That's a beautiful...idea!...May I suggest...a plant based...design for you?" Tacito asked.
"Of course!" Jasper said excitedly.
"Make a dangling...earring but based...on palm trees." Tacito replied, "Like make a...palm tree pendent...dangle upsidedown from...a small chain...I'm not sure...if I'm being...clear." Tacito said trying his best to explain his design.
Jasper's eyes lit-up immediately, "No you're being perfectly clear! That's an amazing idea! Tacito you're a genius!"
"I'm glad you...loved my idea!" Tacito replied petting Jasper's head.
"UGH! just get out of here Jasper!" An annoyed Yurei nearly shouted.
"Yurei no need...to be mean!" Tacito scolded him.
"It's okay Tacito, I'll go away now! thank you for inspiring me, and I really hope, you'll remember everything." Jasper said smiling happily, then bowed to them and hurried towards the library, skipping with joy.
When Jasper was gone, Tacito turned with folded arms towards Yurei, "What was that... about?" he asked.
"What do you mean Baby?"
"You and Jasper...what beef could...you possibly have...with a kid?...he's like what...11?!"
"Didn't you see it! how he smiles and blushes at you! and calls you my prince!" Yurei said annoyed, "The kid has a big fat crush on you Taci! only you can't see it somehow!
Also, ever since our engagement because it's how he knew about us being mates, Jasper has had it against me! he's become the bane of my existence!
He humiliates me at any given chance!"
With raised eyebrows, "Jasper like me...romantically?" Tacito asked, but then he realized since Jasper had yet to meet Faunus, and he's incapable of falling for the real Aroon, the kid is probably experiencing love and sexuality for the first time through having a crush on Tacito.
"But Jasper's just...a kid now...why would you...Take him seriously...You can't be...possibly jealous of...him?
It's not like...I'll leave you...for him or...something!...I'm your mate!" Tacito said.
"I know that but still...You're just too gorgeous Taci, inside/out! even as your mate I get jealous over you, everyone wants you! alphas, betas and even omegas... freaking kids too!"
"I'm not some...prize ready to...be claimed by...anyone who can!...And sure as...hell I ain't...a pedophile to...be attracted to...a freaking kid!
It doesn't matter...who desires me!...I desire you!...so stop being...insecure mi amor...you've got nothing...to worry about...other than our...upcoming wedding arrangements." Tacito replied.
Blushing, "Oh wow!...That was so, beautifully said Taci, I'm gonna cry!" Yurei said making Tacito roll his eyes.
...Few minutes later...
After escorting Yurei back where he belongs in the kitchen, Tacito found himself walking the Royal hallways by himself, though as he walked, he got greeted by many servants who expressed their happiness seeing him fully awake after the 'Fall'.
"Thank you very...much I'm doing...well." Tacito replied smiling to a male servant who just asked how he's doing.
Suddenly, as he approached the stairs that would lead him towards the royal garden, Tacito heard someone calling him from behind, "YOUR HIGHNESS WAIT!"
Turning around, "Lucius!" Tacito looked down with a small smile at the short alpha.
"You highness I am beyond grateful to see you standing tall again!" Lucius wearing a fancy suit with his hair also styled fancy as well, said carrying a big smile.
"Thank you Lu...You look handsome...You seem confident...too!"
"It's all thanks to my fashionable husband, Aroon insists that I should dress well at all times now that I've become a famous singer." Lucius replied laughing.
With Wide eyes, "You and Aroon...are married now?...Yurei only said...you were together!" Tacito said.
"Oh has he? that's weird! but that's his highness Yurei, he's weird.
And btw Ned has informed everyone, I know about Your situation, so feel free to ask anything! I might not be a servant anymore, but I'm happy to assist." Lucius replied laughing again.
"How long since...you've married him?...Aroon I mean?"
"Almost 7 years!...best 7 years of my life, I am a changed man and Aroon is too, thanks to that!
And I know that since you're lacking a bit of memory, Aroon still is to you that scary guy from 11 years ago, but he's an angel once you get to know him." Lucius said proudly.
"Oh I'm sure!" Tacito replied trying his best to not sound sarcastic, "I suppose his highness Yurei also didn't tell you that Aroon and I are having a kid!...I know it sounds late after 7 years of marriage but we were both busy building a life together, to make a life together if you get me." Lucius said.
Nodding, "Oh great! My...mother is pregnant...and Lucius is...confident without alcohol.
This world is...now officially mad!" Tacito mumbled underneath his breaths.
"Did you say something your highness, I didn't hear you?" Lucius asked.
"Oh! I was...wondering about your...job."
"So...I'm a singer now! it's been my lifelong dream, I've actually quitted Being a servant long before My marriage happened.
And Almost everyone supported me becoming a singer, Socorro especially! she's my greatest fan!
My husband also likes my music, though he believes I can do better?" Lucius said chuckling.
"Please stop mentioning...you're married Lu." Tacito said seriously.
Confused, "Al...right?" Lucius replied.
"Anyways...I was going...to stroll in...the garden to...clear my head."
"Oh! I must've been bothering you by stopping you just like that!" Lucius said apologetically.
"No you weren't...bothering me Lu...though I hope...that you'll excuse...me...have a nice...day!" Tacito replied attempting to walk away.
"Sorry that I stopped you, it's just that Aroon has been worried sick about you all week, he was so worried...he and Ned has a serious fight, it almost ended their long-term friendship." Lucius said.
"I'm sure that...Aroon was worried...about the future...of the kingdoms...not me personally." Tacito replied a bit angrily.
Noticing that tone, "No you don't understand! I know that you've always had your differences with Aroon, I know you dislike him because he was strict and very harsh towards you while you grew-up... unfortunately, you'll remember that eventually.
But please know that Aroon had no choice, the man's literal mission was to make a king...
Aroon's job makes him come off as mean and inconsiderate, but he's actually very caring." Lucius said.
"What's the point...of telling me...this?" Tacito asked.
"I just want you to put faith in him, your highness...I know Aroon have hurt many people, but he's been working on redemption for the past 11 years.
I don't know how he hurt you, but please...give him a chance to make it right." Lucius replied.
...Few minutes later...
Taking a deep breath after another, Tacito spent the few past minutes distressing from what Lucius had said as he sat by the bird fountain.
It would seem like no one but Tacito knows that this Aroon is fake, and they have no idea what he's done to Tacito or the real Aroon yet.
And although things seem peaceful and calm in this world, this won't change that in this world, Lucius is married to a murderer.
Though Tacito's heart did soften towards Fernando especially in the last few days, he didn't like that Fernando was Lucius's partner in this world, the real Aroon being dead was unfair.
And despite Muriel and Thorn being the happiest here, Mallory was still missing, Jihi and Faunus are no where in the picture, and Ned and Garrick are simple doctor and knight.
Even Jasper and Jade are kids, and it made him feel lonely even if Yurei was there.
"Is this even...reality." Tacito mumbled.
But just then, Something unexpected happened.
A Portal opened-up few steps away from Tacito, and he stood-up in a hurry to watch as someone came through.
"Kimberly?!"
"Tacito!" Kimberly replied standing in front of him before the portal disappeared behind her.
