The only dream about a career I ever had, was few years ago when I had this weird urge to become a rapper, but I never took a step to do it."

And when it comes to relationships, I want to have like A best friend for a partner, a detective that keeps me company while we crack cases together.
And by the end of the day, I'd like to Come back to a small rented house I consider home, which I share with a beautiful family...A loving spouse, a bunch of troublemaking kids, couple of furry pets, and some loud-Ass nextdoor neighbors." Henrietta said chuckling.

"Yeah...well besides being a cop, nothing I wanted ever happened.
I live in a luxurious mansion, drive an expensive car, My older brother is the closest thing I have to a best friend and I've been single for the past 21 years." Henrietta said disappointed.
"You're a Chief of Police! that's something worth celebrating over, isn't it?" Jade argued,

All I wanted was to remain a normal detective! All I do as chief is fucking watch over my department and receive reports.

Henrietta said, "Well to be fair, I was more eligible for promotions and doing Paperwork because I have a college degree and he doesn't...Also my brother isn't the nicest person on earth, and he's not so popular among other cops." she added.
"You have a brother on the Force too?" Jade Asked, "Yeah, I'm technically his boss too! My brother's name is Henry, our parents thought it was cute to name us 'Henry and Henrietta'...I wanted to become a cop originally because of Henry.
Anyways, it sucks having to boss him around cuz I'm few years younger than him, though he still treats me like a little sister!" Henrietta replied.
"Holy shit? does anyone else from your family works in your department too?" Jade asked curiously, "Yeah! Henry got a kid, his name is Harry." Henrietta said.
Narrowing her eyes, "Seriously?! Harry Style?" Jade questioned, "Yeah?...Harry started this year as a Forensic photographer, basically he works with us too."
"So You're the chief, your brother Henry is a detective and your nephew Harry who's Henry's son, is a crime scene photographer?!

Curious, "I genuinely don't like where this is going, but do continue please." Jade replied.
"Jacob is dating his detective partner, Some cute guy named 'Caleb', while Harry is dating Caleb's twin brother 'Joshua', and Joshua is a police dispatcher!" Henrietta said with amazement in her voice.
"Romance in the office too? Please tell me that there's no one else working with you guys, it's literally a family business now!" Jade replied.
Sighing, "Actually...Henry's wife, her name was Maria...21 years ago, she was a fresh forensic scientist and worked with the department as well, I was still a detective at that time.
Maria died in a fire that took a place in our mansion 21 years ago." Henrietta said.
Taken back, "That took a dark turn real quick." Jade commented.
"Faunus's adoptive parents also died in that fire." Henrietta said, "Oh...really? You guys must've been devastated." Jade replied.
Sighing again, "Yeah, That fire took more than just lives, it ruined those who survived.
My brother Henry never recovered from losing Maria, that's why he has a shitty attitude...And his son Harry was just a kid when he lost his mother and he had to grow-up without her.
And like I said, My cousin and his wife who adopted Faunus died in that fire too, so Faunus lost his parents all over again...And he particularly raised himself by himself.
As for me I had four kids, but after the fire...it was just me and Leonard, and I did a terrible job being his parent...he literally became a criminal and a shitty boyfriend too." Henrietta shared her story, Her sad expression got mixed with a hint of guilt that lingered in her tired eyes.
Lifting herself up to sit on the couch, Jade turned her gaze towards Henrietta, "You lost 3 kids?...I'm sorry that you had to go through such a thing, I'm not a parent but I imagine that would hurt real bad." she said sincerely.
Smiling again, "It did...until a miracle happened, they're actually alive!" Henrietta said Happily.
"Your kids? For reals?! how? they didn't die in the fire?" Jade asked.
"No...when the fire happened we discovered that it was just a distraction to take away the kids.
They were taken by someone whom wanted revenge on me, and now 21 years later...I found them." Henrietta explained.
"Wow!...Wait, since you're telling me all of your background story, does that mean my mom knows?" Jade asked.
"The miracle is your mom." Henrietta said.
"That's a weird way to phrase it!...umm, but what the hell are you talking about? also I just remembered, you kissed my mom.
What the fuck was that about?" Jade asked.
Sighing, "I like Ned...I liked him ever since I met him during Muriel and Leonard's breakup...I tried inviting him out for dinner but he blocked my number, and I'm pretty sure he blocked me on every possible social media too because I just can't find him anywhere." Henrietta replied.
"You Like him? like Romantically?...*Gasps* You want to bone him!" Jade said horrified.
Blushing, "Hey now! hold on a minute! who said anything about boning!" Henrietta said flustered with Jade's interpretation of her words.
"But My Mom's mated! he has Garrick." Jade said, "Plus Mom's gay! And you Henrietta, don't fit any of the criterias in his dating pool! What the hell made you think you two could be a thing?!

Annoyed, "Is it a crime to like someone who can't like me back?" Henrietta asked, "It is, if you force yourself on them!" Jade replied.
"I just like Ned Okay! something about him feels like the things I deeply yarn for...Like those dreams about having a normal life.
