...(time: somewhere in the Victorian era )...

"How can a mansion just burst into flames and no one has been saved or made it out alive?!" Ned asked the old woman he found gossiping while he went Shopping, he wasn't surprised at the news itself, but rather at the similarities of this incident with his own personal experience.

Since they have just arrived, Ned and Yurei decided to stay in a town, renting a room in a widowed woman's house, because the reckless place jumper fell ill unexpectedly and needed a place to rest.

Originally, The plan wasn't to waste time by staying, luckily this time The guide given to them by Jihi, pinpointed that a page was hidden somewhere in the outskirts of the town they were in, and the two where heading there to look for it.

but suddenly, Yurei's condition got worse, a little too worse, he was bedridden.

Things were supposed to end quickly, since they have been in England before and can teleport anywhere freely without waiting or wasting Their time, but Yurei's sickness came in the way.

Jihi has already warned the two, that the nature of their mission and their abilities put them at a great disadvantage, if anything bad were to happen to them while searching for the pages, going back wasn't an option, nor getting saved was.

And if they wanted their freedom, they have to finish the mission.

Plus, since the pages were by the thousands in numbers and were scattered in way that would take a lifetime for a Normal person to just find few pages, the two already knew this was going to be a long business trip.

The Cloaked mage also explain that retrieving the book of Judgment, wasn't the only reason for sending them off on this special mission, in fact it was to give them one Final extensive training before freeing them, since the two men would be left with immense growing powers, far beyond the average person's understanding.

Supposedly, With the two men's Powers combined, Ned and Yurei are able to travel from any location within any time periods they desires, but that powers turned out to be not so perfect after all, especially Yurei's since teleportation magic proved difficult to manipulate.

For example, the Place Jumping quirk that Yurei possessed, allows him to teleport from a place to another in a matter of seconds, in short distance he can teleport without any difficulty, like if he was in a room he can teleport to the next one without going through the door, or he can be sitting at a coffee shop then teleport to the flower shop two blocks away with ease.

But long distance teleportation was an issue, Naturally.

Unlocking the full potential of Yurei's power, would allow him for example to travel from two points that are way far from each other in distance, like between a city and another, but something alike can only happened by two methods.

Either Yurei has to spend an indefinite amount of time living in that place to be able to teleport anywhere he desired within that very place, with the amount of time spent depending on how long is the distance.

For example a less than a month to travel between cities, some months to be able to travel between countries, and so on.

Or, there's the second method, which is to travel traditionally all around that location once, it will give the same results as spending time there, creating a mental map inside Yurei's head that will allow him later on to teleport in seconds to anywhere in that location, without any problem.

Let's say for example that Yurei wanted to be able to teleport anywhere in Italy, he would have to spend enough time living somewhere in Italy so his powers can scan the country's whole map, which will give Him the knowledge he needed to know where to teleport.

Or If he went by the second method, he will have to travel personally to all places in Italy but just once, in order for his powers to get familiar with the country, and draw him his personal mental map so he can teleport.

In Ned's case, his quirk time traveling, easily allows him teleport himself And Yurei to the next time period right after finding the pages.

However, The ex doctor isn't able to change they location they land in, often teleporting in the same location they teleported from, but within a different time period, making his powers as well, lacking a little.

This was one of the biggest reasons why the mission took so long, and for why the two had To combine forces together, Yurei would change the location while Ned changes time.

But they managed nonetheless, they often chose to travel around instead of waiting in one place, mainly out of Ned's curiosity and Yurei's deep love for traveling itself.

Waiting around wasn't something Yurei enjoyed, despite waiting was a much more comfortable Choice, since Yurei and Ned had the guide to tell them where the pages were.

The two could just simply spend some days living like a normal people enjoying some stability, until Yurei's powers are fully unlocked, and would allow them to teleport to each page's location directly.

Also, in order to make up for the unperfected abilities Jihi gave the two men, the cloaked figure handed them more than just the guide, but also weapons and spell books to practice while working, and promised to give them something else when they return.

However, even so, The two realized they made a big mistake not taking their first and last mission seriously, now they're paying the price for it.

Stranded in a victorian england because Yurei is unable to get up from his bed, the ex-doctor took pity on him, Yurei was unable to handle the separation pain this time.

Ned himself was still experiencing the agonizing aftermath of losing his mate, it was possibly far worse than what the ex Prince had to deal with, but Ned chose to keep pretending to be alright for Yurei's sake.

And then today of all the days, And while it seemed to be irrelevant to their mission at first, according to some gossiping old ladies Ned met on the way while he was shopping this morning, a mansion nearby simply bursted aflame late at night about few days ago, trapping and killing every single person living in it, including the owners.

"Yes young man! there is whispers on the streets, that someone set the mansion on fire deliberately! only god truly knows what happened in that unfortunate place." one of the ladies replied.

For some reason this strange occurrence didn't sit well with Ned, something about it urged him to investigate.

"Are you sure no one made it out alive? was there any witnesses? did anyone see it happening?" Ned asked.

"I am as curious as you dear, hmmm maybe that young lady over there knows something? I heard she had family among the unfortunate souls that died." The old lady replied slightly pointing at a passerby.

Ned turned his head to see a woman passing them, She was a bit smaller and thinner than he was, and was dressed in a ragged black dress.

Without even looking at the petite woman's face, Anyone can tell that from her general appearance, that she was grieving someone.

Thanking the old ladies for their time, Ned secretly followed the woman around until he saw her entering an old looking church.

Ned quickly went inside stealthily, doing his best not to alert the person he was following.

Hiding as soon as he stepped inside, Ned barely avoided being spotted as the woman glanced around her so suddenly to see if someone else was with her at the church, but no one else was around but her.

Suddenly, The ex-doctor felt a sense of nostalgia as he caught a glimpse of what he thought was the woman's pale sickly face, especially her familiar big inky black eyes.

Ned wasn't able to see her face earlier when he followed her to the church, but now he could and it was a face he'd seen before at a hospital back in Derora.

Lucius's Mother, Luciel Satcliffe, the inky eyes servant was named a similar name to his mother, and has inherited those same pair of eyes Luciel had.

When he was getting to know Lucius, Ned learned from the servant that his mother despite being a man, dressed in what society considers female clothes and was easily mistaken for a young girl due to his Petit and soft figure.

Lucius used to be constantly worried about his ill parent, since Lucius's mother was an Omega male, who's was suspiciously enough always bed ridden and unable to work, Ned knew all of this from when he visited the hospital with Lucius himself.

However the ex-doctor was in it for another surprise, when he suddenly watched in utter disbelief as the man in the ragged black dress was changing his form from Luciel, to someone else.

Now The man's body was getting a bit taller and a bit bigger, and Ned's eyes widened at the sight of that distinctive long Magneta pink hair he'd seen before, it was impossible to forget where he saw it.

The inky eyes turned lime green, and the pale skin from before was now a glistening mahogany shade, the very and only shade worn by the Aroon Tar that he knows, The pink haired assistant was standing now instead of the image of Luciel Satcliffe.

Slowly, Aroon walked further inside the seemingly empty church, holding a black rose in his hand as he chanted prayers, in front of him was an open casket.

Aroon stood in front that casket and gently placed the rose in his hands inside, he was looking at the person he was mourning with eyes filled with tears, before all of the sudden, a portal Opened up right where he stood, And A witch in a similar outfit as Jihi's witches came out of that portal.

"You're a lucky bastard since I won't be taking them right now, the new boss is quite the Kind-hearted...But I'll be coming back tonight to collect the payment, so enjoy your darn memories while you still have them." the witch spoke in obvious displease before vanishing back through the same portal she came through.

Ned watched Aroon sighting in relief as the witch left, before the pink haired man bursted into tears right when the portal completely closed, he threw himself onto that casket and started weeping loudly.

Gathering whatever courage he had within him, Ned got out of his hiding place and walked slowly towards Aroon, his eyes landed at the body that was peacefully laying inside the casket.

His eyes couldn't believe it, as Lucius's lifeless body was laying within the coffin and being mourned by the Ex-king's assistant, the very guy who killed him in cold blood back in the other world?

Why would Aroon Tar be mourning Lucius Satcliffe's death?

But Then, As he watched Aroon crying his eyes out, Ned remembered something at that moment...

A conversation that he had long ago, That made him question things even more.

...[Tiny flashback]....

A curious Ned wanted to ask Jihi something, it's has only been few days since he signed his contract but he had so much to ask, especially about the rebirth that Jihi has spoke about before.

"What do you exactly want to know?" Jihi said while sipping on some tea, "Why the Normal world? why wouldn't the resurrection happen in our world?" Ned eagerly asked.

Jihi quietly poured him a cup of tea, "There's many reasons why, but I'll tell you the main reason for this...the Reincarnation isn't happening for the first time, but actually the second time."
