Cassie laughed out loud and ended up under the stairs, "I heard that you and James will be getting married soon. I wish you happiness in advance!"
"Thank you!" Emmy's voice was cold and distant.
"We have received your blessing and we will be happy." Cassie had a forced smile on her face. She laughed dryly twice before she reluctantly walked out of her room. As soon as she left, he closed the door behind him. "Didn't you say you wanted to ask me out on a date?"
She was a little surprised by how he closed the door of the room.
"Can't you meet in the ward?"
He smiled and said to her: "Besides, you are sick. If you want to take you out, you will have to ask doctors and nurses for leave. The most important thing is that your wound has not yet healed. It's safer in the ward than there.
"Fine," She smiled.
"I thought there would be a candlelit dinner or something."
