Frost Flower lay on Chihiro's lap, stroking the latter's face with his fingers. "You look so much younger than me like this," he cooed. They were monitoring the final steps of the parameter adjustment which Chihiro had ensured and double-checked. They were jittery in the past half an hour, but after everything was set, their adrenaline was back to the normal level.
"So, we've invited all the volunteers," Chihiro reread the laundry list of the tasks. He already ticked off the items but he still wanted to reread like that. Chihiro just being Chihiro.
"Yes, and they are all from the nearby supply depots," Frost Flower said.
"Supply depots nearby the Dome facilities," Chihiro clarified. "Otherwise, it won't be approved by the Council."
