"Unfortunately, my time is limited today, Father. I'm in a business meeting today. I need to go soon. But I'll assure you one thing: when the rebellion happens, my men will protect you."
Maryono almost dropped the phone again, but this one was for a different reason.
"What rebellion?" he quickly confirmed. Before Rasita had to drop the call, he had to know. If his son was engaged in a difficult situation, he must know.
"I can't tell you here, Father. My phone is alright, and I believe our home is not bugged, either. But one thing I can't afford to have is your disturbed peace of mind. You don't need to know anything other than the fact there'd be chaos, but I will protect you."
Maryono was sure if he was on a bad diet he would have a heart attack right now. But he pressed on because he still felt healthy. "Are you sure you want to do this?"
"I am."
