"It's Father," he typed again and sent it again.
It was too unreal to have somebody he had been missing show up out of the blue, as if the universe had been keeping him in hiding this far, only to reveal Rasita at the most random moment of his life.
"Where are you?" Maryono typed the message and pressed Send.
There was no response yet since his last message, but he brushed it off to the possibility that Rasita had been somewhere else in a different timezone, so it was probably already late.
Maryono stayed put. His phone in his hand, warm with his natural body heat, his face was like carved out of stone, emotionless. But we never know what is inside someone's head and heart. When someone saw Maryono like this, they probably saw nothing was wrong with his predicament, that Maryono was a healthy elderly and just spent his time casually playing games for improving memories in his phone.
