"Hi, Val," Mark called him the next day. He had finished his part of the calculations but there were some steps he didn't understand nor had any prior experience on.
He needed Val's expertise. Stephanie occasionally texted that guy when she needed advice on the bookkeeping part of the company. Now Mark had to do the same on the stock forecast. There was no one he'd call rather than Val.
Val was okay with the call and he was free so the conversation continued.
Mark shared his screen during the call so Val knew what he was doing and which parts he needed to correct.
"See, you haven't factored in the stock velocity when computing the model. There were days when your inventory was up faster than the normal days, so you can assume that the model is not linear."
