"Goddamnit, Stephanie!"
Frost Flower threw his scarf back to the sofa, the tassel unintentionally hit Chihiro's face who lazed around in bed that morning. Chihiro took a day off as an in-lieu because he had spent two consecutive days with very little sleep varying the parameters for a new simulation.
This interruption pissed him off.
"Can't you take this outside? I'm trying to sleep, my head explodes, you know," he groaned, closing his eyes in hatred towards Frost Flower who didn't care that his captor had exerted himself.
"You know that there's something called 'karoshi'. Death by overworked," Chihiro hissed, throwing the pillow back at Frost Flower.
Fuming, the Commander of the New Police went out of their room, climbing the stairs to open the door to their balcony for fresh morning air.
He scrolled down his phone and found that cursed email from Officer Reynaldo. That guy somehow found Stephanie passed out in her flat alone.
