It was a lovely evening to spend sprawling on the sofa, waiting for Mark to come home. Stephanie had somehow reached home early after wrapping up her interview with Abby. She had forwarded the material sent by the Department of Wellbeing regarding the household preference to him, asking him to read through it and giving suggestions the next day.
Stephanie told him that she would be available on the first day of him on the road, but only for a couple of hours. Truth be told, although she was looking for more manpower to help her with the crazy workload in the task force, she felt Abby had picked the most time-consuming option to share her burden.
