Frost Flower's throaty voice welcomed Chihiro as soon as he opened the door. A pair of red sneakers lay sadly on the bottom of the staircase.
The owner just threw his jacket into the washing machine. His dishevelled hair glistened with sweat, a few drops gathered at the tip of his mahogany cowlicks.
Chihiro frowned his forehead. His eyebrows curled up. "You're catching a cold and still went out for a jog?"
Seeing his pitiful face, the nasty spill that Frost Flower prepared died at the tip of his tongue. His heart tendered, his prisoner looked cute and docile when caring for him like this. Caring for him? Far-fetched, he thought.
"It was a fruitful brunch session and the first thing you said to me was how careless I was of my health?" he teased. He knew that Chihiro and his two new friends didn't even have lunch together. In fact, it was a hostile meeting.
