Yasmin's sleep was disrupted when she felt something heavy pressing against her chest. She slowly shifted her weight and was obstructed by a wall, which was warm. She opened her eyes frantically and found Declan sleeping next to her, his hand on her breastbone. She had been sleeping like a log and couldn't tell when he returned.
Her lips curled as she continued to stare at him. It was always amusing to her whenever she saw him sleeping with his lips parted slightly. She stroked his lips gently with her fingertip.
He shut his mouth, but his lips parted after some time.
Yasmin laughed quietly. She leaned closer to him and snuggled into his chest.
Declan put his hand on her back. "Did I wake you up?" he asked hoarsely.
Yasmin stifled laughter. It was she who was disturbing him. "No," she replied. When did you come back?"
"It was four o'clock in the morning."
"Oh!"
