"Isn't Declan a bit unpredictable?" Lisa gazed at Yasmin curiously. "He forgave your sister so easily and let her stay at his house. He has got a big heart." She took a bite of her sandwich.
"I didn't expect either," Yasmin murmured. Thinking about his mood swing, she sighed with confusion. "He is undoubtedly good," she added after some time, "and annoying too. He is… I don't know. He is like an unsolvable riddle to me." Her thoughts trailed off.
She remembered him saying he didn't believe in love. But she had noticed the affection in his eyes that led her to believe that he loved her. It was distressing that he was not aware of it. Yasmin had no idea how to make him confess.
"All the riddles can be solved," Lisa replied casually as if she was a puzzle expert. "Take your time to get to know him."
"Uh…" Yasmin rolled her eyes. "I will grow old before I get to know him."
They both burst out laughing.
