Sean slowly sat up, groaning in pain. "Declan, it's good to see you here."
Tina turned her head to look at him, still clinging to Declan. She was afraid he would leave her.
Declan held her shoulders and gently pushed her away, approaching Sean. He glanced at the gauze bandage on his right thigh. "How do you feel?"
"Uh…" Sean winched, clasping his thigh. "It hurts, but nothing that I can't bear." He managed to grin through his pain. "Why don't you sit down?"
Declan nodded and took his seat on the single sofa. He glanced at Tina, who was now sitting on the bed beside Sean. "I heard the waiter had locked Yasmin in the storeroom." He directed his inquiring gaze at Sean.
"Oh, that man is a jerk," Sean said, his expression showing his displeasure. "He had ulterior motives. He mixed sleeping pills in her drink and misguided her to the storeroom. He confessed everything when we caught him."
