The baby was healthy and of proper weight, but Yasmin passed out soon after the delivery.
Her blood pressure dropped, as did her pulse rate. The bleeding was excessive.
The doctor gave Natasha the baby and asked her to go out so that they could attend to Yasmin.
The baby stopped crying as soon as Natasha took her into her arms.
Natasha smiled at her, but she was a little hesitant to leave Yasmin. She wanted to be with her until she was awake. She walked out quietly so as not to disturb the doctor.
Both Declan and Grace rushed over to her. They grinned widely, contended and excited at the same time.
"Declan, take a look at her. She looks just like Yasmin." Grace clapped with joy.
Declan's eyes were watery when he took his daughter into his arms. He was shaking, fearing he would hurt her.
"She is so tiny," he murmured. "So cute."
