Sean put sleeping Elliot on the cradle next to Aron's and walked out of the nursery, only to run into Jeremy, who was giving him a displeased look.
He had grown accustomed to such a stare from him in the previous few hours. He simply walked past him, ignoring him.
"You can ignore me because I am getting old and injured too. I'm useless to you and the boss with this leg. But I can still see things more clearly than you. And I can see your destruction."
Sean turned to him. His darkened eyes revealed his annoyance.
"Send that woman and her son away," Jeremey continued to say, his voice firm. "Let's get out of here. We don't have to wait for the boss."
"I explained why I brought her," Sean hissed. "I'm going to marry her."
