"Yasmin…" Declan hugged her from behind, helpless.
"Let go of me," she fumed, twisting in his arms. Her red cheeks turned even redder in anger.
"No… First, you must tell me that you are not mad at me.
Yasmin stopped moving, irritated. "I am mad at you."
"Don't break my heart." He lowered his head and kissed her on the shoulder.
Yasmin furiously turned her head aside.
"Anger is bad for you," he mumbled.
"Why did you do something that irritates me?" she asked in response.
"I am helpless… sigh… I feel insecure whenever I see you talking and smiling with another man. Please try to understand. This is how I am. I am not suspecting you or Derrek. But I can't bear seeing you with him."
Yasmin pressed her lips together, fighting the urge to smile. Her anger subsided gradually. She pretended to be displeased and said, "We were just having fun. Can't you see that? Nothing serious was going on."
