As Julia approached, Nicholas rushed over to her.
"Mamma…" He hugged her knees. "I am enjoying it so much. The babies are so cute."
"You like them," Julia said delightfully, ruffling his hair.
"Yes, I like them. They are cuter than anything else. I want to take them home with me. I will play with them all day."
"Hahaha…" Julia laughed. "Their mother will cry then."
"Then bring a baby for me."
Julia's smile became frozen. Her shoulders tensed.
He pointed to Yasmin, who was sitting on the sofa beside Grace. "Everyone thinks Aunty has a baby in her tummy. Can you have a baby in your stomach?"
Everyone else in the hall burst out laughing, but Julia remained motionless.
Even Alexander was smiling. He also wished the same as his son. His delight was short-lived. His smile faded when he noticed Julia's flustered face.
She didn't appear embarrassed but rather disturbed.
