"Julia…" Grace knocked on the door. "The dinner is ready."
Julia had locked herself in her room since she had returned home and had been crying, burying her face in the pillow. She stopped sobbing and lifted her head slightly to look back at the door. She wouldn't be able to eat anything. Furthermore, she didn't want to go in front of her mother at this moment.
Grace would suspect something, looking at her puffy eyes and red nose.
Julia wiped her face and stretched her lips, trying to smile. She cleared her throat and said, "I will eat later. You eat."
Grace was silent for some time. She assumed something was wrong with Julia.
"Are you sure?" she asked. "If you have any problems, you can talk to me."
"Mom, I am fine. It's just… I am not feeling well. I took medicine. I will be okay. Don't worry. Eat and rest early."
"Oh. Shall I call Xander and ask him to send his family doctor?"
