When Declan arrived home, he found Francis waiting for him. He motioned for him to come to the study, and Francis followed him.
"He said what he noticed that night was disturbing," Francis said as soon as they entered the study. "He saw Mr. Lionel Young kneeling in front of his daughter, pleading with her for something."
Declan stopped halfway into sitting down, eyes widening. He then slowly sat down.
Francis sighed and continued to say, "Miss Young slapped him. It was too shocking for him, and he accidentally dropped the camera, alerting her and the security guards."
Declan's face became icy. "Such a useless man, and you think he is good. I wouldn't have been surprised if he was killed."
"Don't chastise him." Francis pouted, displeased. "Accidents happen. He has kept his true identity and connection to us a secret. He is a professional who knows how to keep things private when he is caught."
