Declan's grip on the armrests became even tighter. "Are you in a situation of negotiation? I can kill you and your son in a matter of a minute without hesitation."
Nathan chuckled through his pain. "I know you will not kill us," he said with confidence. "If you wanted to, you could have killed us a long time ago. But you didn't. You cannot until you find out what it is I have been holding back. So, are you ready for the negotiation?"
Declan kept staring at him coldly for a few moments, his lips slowly curling into a sinister smile. He glanced at the two men in black suits standing beside Edward and signaled something with a nod.
The two guards got the message and untied Edward.
Nathan was overjoyed. His lips stretched wide. But that joy and relief didn't last for a minute.
Edward was pulled up on the ice bar and noosed, his feet slipping. He was desperately trying to set himself free from the noose.
