"Are my demands unreasonable?" She shot back. "Have you seen Amber's condition? Don't you feel sorry for her?"
"I have sympathy for her. She is my niece." Nathan was irritated. "But you are not getting it. You cannot sway your focus from one target to another. If you want me to act on Earl and Natasha, forget about bringing down Declan."
Caroline looked perplexed as if she didn't understand what he was saying.
