Declan arrived at the hospital half an hour later and went straight to his father's ward. There was no one but a nurse changing his IV drip.
Declan was saddened to see Gerald lying alone. His dislike for Caroline grew stronger. Instead of staying here, that woman went to attend a meeting, which was not necessary.
Caroline didn't seem to be concerned about her husband's current health condition. She used to be nice to Gerald when he was well. But she chose to ignore him when he needed her the most.
Expecting anything from such a self-centered and vile woman was wild speculation.
Declan moved closer to the bed. His heart ached, watching him like this. "Why has he not awakened yet?" he asked.
"His vitals are normal. He should regain consciousness soon. You can talk to Dr. Stevens." The nurse left.
Declan held his hand. "Dad. I have finally been able to force Sean out of the company. I have taken over as CEO. Will you not bless me?"
